Research and teaching

While my primary efforts have always been focused on creating and developing my career as a musician and composer, I maintain a position as an assistant professor at the Royal Academy of Music in Aalborg. This means that I get to devote time to research (currently focusing on micro rhythms and polypulses) and to work with students, both for bass and entrepreneurship. I have also given lectures at the conservatory in Tokyo, Paris, Beirut, Quito, Guayaquill, Agadir, Bangkok, Riga, Vilnius, Katowice, Tallinn and Rome.

I am the Artistic Director for The Liberty Orchestra created by Swinging Europe in Denmark. The intense residency lasted just 10 days: 2 days rehearsal, 6 days touring and 2 days recording.

We recently began releasing the music on my label KDK Music.
