While some people get their kicks from driving fast cars or climbing steep mountains, I search for freedom in music. This power trio, featuring Matias Fischer on drums and Casper Hejlesen on guitar, allows me to go anywhere I want with no limits neither in rhythm or harmony.

The Uummat Ensemble
The music from my newest record “Uummat” is my most ambitious compositional undertaking to date, and this large ten-piece ensemble includes a vocalist, a string section, a brass section and a rhythm section. Together, we conjure powerful stories, soundscapes and images, inviting the audience for a journey into the cold, wild North.
